After completing my degree in Communications and Music Business at James Madison University, I set out into the world of music…only to land in television production. Right out of the gate I started working as a production assistant for Front And Center Entertainment in New York City. There, my work ethic caught the attention of the head of the production company, Brighton Entertainment who then brought me on as their production coordinator.
As Brighton’s production coordinator, I wore every hat imaginable; tackling everything from budgeting, renting equipment, and coordinating with talent, to reviewing media content deliverables. In less than a year, I worked my way up to Senior Editor where I edited, mastered, and delivered multiple music-related television series for PBS as well as social media content for local venues and restaurants and a few web series.
Needing a change, I decided in 2018 to move to Nashville, TN where I am currently freelancing as a producer and editor. Since 2021 I have been producing several shows for Country Music Television ranging from classics like CMT Crossroads and the CMT Music Awards to new series like CMT Summer Sessions and the revival of Storytellers.
When I’m not staring into a screen you can find me out listening to live music, cycling, or walking my dogs Ed and Annie.
